Bisexuality Collection

Resources included in this collection refer to bisexual people specifically. Resources about the LGBTQ+ community in general can be found in the Queer Collection. Resources about people who are transgender/gender nonconforming, aromantic/asexual, or lesbian are located in separate collection but there may be some overlap among them.

Bisexual Resource Center

The Bisexual Resource Center was founded in 1985 by a group of bi activists after a regional conference. First named the East Coast Bisexual Network, it became a 501(c)3 in 1989 and was renamed in the mid-90s. The BRC is the oldest national bi+ organization in the U.S. that advocates for bisexual visibility and raises awareness about bisexuality throughout the LGBT and straight communities.

Bisexual.org is a project of The American Institute of Bisexuality (AIB) and the Bisexual Foundation. They are a 501(c)(3) public charity that supports and sponsors projects likely to promote understanding and visibility about bisexuality through education, research, training, and media outreach.

American Institute of Bisexuality

The American Institute of Bisexuality encourages, supports and assists research and education about bisexuality, through programs likely to make a material difference and enhance public knowledge, awareness and understanding about bisexuality.
